WHAT IS AGROFORESTRY?

Agroforestry is the integration of trees in agriculture.

It is about creating synergistic relationships between trees, shrubs, animals and annual crops to make farms more productive, profitable and ecologically sound.

Agroforestry is a promising tool to tackle some of the key challenges we face today. We need to find ways to produce food and fiber to meet the growing global demand while not degrading the ecosystems we rely on.

To find out how we can integrate Agroforestry in our farms we are interviewing farmers, scientists and other experts in the field to share with you their experiences and practical advice.

WHAT TREES TO PLANT AND HOW TO MANAGE THEM?

HOW CAN WE BEST INTEGRATE DIFFERENT PRODUCTIVE ELEMENTS?

WHAT BUSINESS MODELS WORK FOR AGROFORESTRY SYSTEMS?
